Data Engineer

• Office locations: Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide
• Essential: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance
• Start Date: March 2027
• End Date: June 2027

We are seeking a Data Engineer to develop and maintain secure data processing and integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build data ingestion, transformation and integration pipelines.
• Implement data validation, quality and metadata practices.
• Monitor performance, resolve pipeline failures and optimise processing.
• Maintain tested, secure and documented solutions.

Skills & experience

• Hands-on experience building and supporting data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, or equivalent programming capability.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, workflow orchestration, databases and data storage platforms.
• Knowledge of data modelling, Git and CI/CD practices.

Security Clearance: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearance is strictly required
