Are you an experienced Product Owner passionate about digital innovation and mobile applications? We are looking for a dynamic leader to join a high-priority digital initiative, guiding a cross-functional squad through fast-paced delivery while shaping outstanding customer experiences.

About the Project

You will be contributing to the Google Journey Planner initiative, a high-impact digital program focused on delivering seamless mobile experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, agile environment where your decisions directly influence outcomes and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, aligning work to business outcomes and tight delivery timelines
  • Lead a digital squad through uncertainty, providing clarity, focus, and direction
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable, prioritised work for the team
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Partner with UX/UI Designers to ensure customer-centric solutions
  • Collaborate with Digital Business Analysts to ensure requirements are clear and delivery-ready
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs
  • Make timely decisions to maintain momentum and meet delivery deadlines
  • Ensure solutions meet high standards of quality, usability, and customer experience

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar digital product role
  • Strong experience delivering digital products, particularly native mobile applications
  • Proven ability to lead Agile squads in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments
  • Experience managing and prioritising backlogs in Jira, with supporting documentation in Confluence
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end digital delivery, including front-end, back-end, and API considerations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and confident communication at senior levels
  • Strong decision-making ability, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and delivery timelines

Nice to Have

  • Experience on large-scale or customer-facing digital platforms
  • Exposure to AI-enabled features or digital innovation initiatives
  • Background in customer experience, service design, or human-centred design
