Our client based in North Lakes, Qld is a dynamic and fast-growing financial services business specialising in providing cashflow loans to our valued customers.
With a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Administrative & Accounts Assistant to support our office operations and finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration Support:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and wider team
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Assist with document management, filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars
- Assist in preparing internal reports, forms, and correspondence
Accounting & Invoicing:
- Assist in processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly reporting tasks
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal processes
- Liaise with external accountants and stakeholders as required
Key Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Any relevant experience in an office or finance-related role will be a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the business
