We’re seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team supporting a secure platform with cutting-edge technology across infrastructure, applications, and services.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll ensure the operational reliability and security of complex environments while driving automation, continuous improvement, and compliance within a secure DevSecOps framework.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage, monitor, and optimise system performance across Microsoft, Linux, network, and virtualised environments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities, ensuring robust platform security.
  • Provide technical support for incidents, requests, and service management.
  • Maintain and create detailed technical documentation including design, SOPs, and release notes.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery practices — sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ticket management.
  • Participate in secure facility operations (including rostered open/close duties).

What You’ll Bring

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Microsoft stack: Windows Server/Desktop, AD, GPO, ADFS, SCCM/MECM
  • Linux systems: Ansible, Satellite
  • Networks & Firewalls: NSX-T, Cisco, Palo Alto
  • Virtualisation: VMware, vRA, Horizon
  • Storage: vSAN or enterprise-grade systems
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, including secure coding and automation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in highly secure domains or government environments.
  • Scripting and automation using playbooks (Linux, Microsoft, infrastructure).
  • Familiarity with Essential Eight (E8) and ISM compliance.
  • Background in operational support and continuous improvement.
