We are seeking an experienced Appian Automation Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of business process automation solutions using the Appian BPM platform.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, translating business needs into technical specifications, and working alongside development teams to deliver automated solutions that drive efficiency and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for process automation.
  • Analyze and assess current business processes to identify automation opportunities.
  • Design Appian workflows, data models, and user interfaces in alignment with business needs.
  • Work closely with Appian Developers to translate functional specifications into Appian solutions.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide post-deployment support.
  • Develop documentation including process maps, configuration guides, and user training materials.
  • Monitor and optimize Appian applications to improve performance and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security, and governance.

Must have Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Appian BPM or other low-code platforms.
  • Strong understanding of BPMN principles, business process mapping, and automation concepts.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Appian features including SAIL, Records, Reports, and Integration objects.
  • Ability to write and understand Appian expressions and basic scripting logic.
  • Knowledge of web services, APIs, and data integration strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certification (Designer / Developer).
  • Background in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience in banking, insurance, or a highly regulated industry is a plus.
