Solutions Architect – Banking Applications

Join a leading Australian bank as a Solutions Architect and play a key role in driving large-scale transformation initiatives across mission-critical platforms such as HR, finance, loans, and consumer banking applications.

We’re seeking an Applications Architect with strong solutioning experience, ideally from a banking or enterprise environment, to shape, design, and deliver cloud-integrated systems that support business innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architecting end-to-end technical solutions across enterprise platforms
• Collaborating with stakeholders and business units to capture requirements
• Designing and developing high- and low-level solution designs
• Creating integration patterns between cloud and on-prem systems
• Leading implementation activities and coordinating with vendors
• Supporting platform architecture for HR, Loans, Finance, and more
• Advising on Content Management patterns and SSO best practices
• Staying ahead of emerging technologies to drive innovation

Must have skills and experience:

• 10+ years total IT experience with 6–8 years in Solution Architecture
• Strong background in application/platform architecture, ideally in banking
• Proven experience integrating cloud platforms with legacy systems
• Hands-on knowledge of Content Management Systems, SSO, and Infrastructure Architecture
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns, system integration & SDLC

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain
• Exposure to HR, finance, or loan application ecosystems
