Software Developer

• Office locations: Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide
• Essential: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance
• Start Date: March 2027
• End Date: June 2027

We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain applications within a secure ICT environment. Experience with Python, PySpark and/or Java is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Translate requirements into practical software solutions.
• Develop application components, APIs and database integrations.
• Write and maintain automated tests, investigate defects and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation and software releases.

Skills & experience

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with Python and/or Java, or relevant transferable development skills.
• PySpark experience desirable where data processing is required.
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, Git and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of secure coding and Agile delivery.

Security Clearance: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearance is strictly required
