IT Test Analyst

Security Clearance Required for this role:

• Must have at least Baseline security clearance.

About the Role

We’re assisting our client, in recruiting an experienced IT Test Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact digital projects within a dynamic, agile environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for functional and system testing of key business processing systems. Working within an Agile (Scrum) environment, you’ll collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure system quality, integrity, and performance across multiple releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, system, integration, and regression testing across multiple business-critical applications.
• Review and analyse technical and design documentation to inform test planning.
• Prepare, peer review, and execute detailed test scripts.
• Escalate defects, incidents, and complex issues in line with established processes.
• Undertake specialist research and analysis tasks as required.
• Lead assigned sections of work within a release or sprint cycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.
• Ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with goverance standards and security requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst within complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Ability to analyse system and interface design documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Must hold a current security baseline clearance.
