Machine Learning Specialist

• Office locations: Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide
• Essential: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance

• End Date: June 2027

We are seeking a Machine Learning Specialist to develop and operationalise reliable machine learning solutions supporting national security capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and tune machine learning models.
• Prepare training data and implement feature engineering.
• Deploy models and integrate them into applications and data pipelines.
• Monitor performance, investigate drift and manage retraining.

Skills & experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering machine learning solutions through development and deployment.
• Strong Python, SQL and machine learning framework skills.
• Experience with model validation, versioning, monitoring and reproducible workflows.
• Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD and secure development practices.

Security Clearance: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearance is strictly required
