We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team supporting Nissan Casting Plant Australia (NCAP). This is an opportunity to work closely with operational leaders, influence workplace culture, and provide trusted HR advice across a diverse manufacturing environment.
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the National Manager | Compensation & Benefits, you will play a key role in delivering HR operational and business partnering support across the Nissan Casting Plant Australia.
You will work closely with leaders and employees to provide practical HR solutions that support both people and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, grievances, and performance management.
- Provide trusted HR advice and support to employees across all levels of the organisation.
- Support industrial relations matters, including union engagement and organisational change initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Support broader HR activities including remuneration reviews, policy development, workforce planning, and compliance.
- Assist in delivering talent attraction, development, and retention initiatives.
- Champion a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing workplace matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build credibility and influence leaders at all levels.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in manufacturing and/or blue-collar workforce
- Experience in running EBA negotiations and dealing with unions
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management or related discipline
