Asset and Operations Excellence Manager

We’re looking for an Asset and Operations Excellence Manager to lead our Asset Management and Banking & Receipting teams, while driving smarter ways of working through automation, AI and process improvements. Reporting to the National Manager, Customer Solutions, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or team leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.

 About the role 

In this pivotal leadership role, you will:

•  Lead and support a team of 13+ people, helping them deliver great results while growing their own capability.
• Drive improvements in the way we work, using technology, automation and AI to create efficiencies and improve customer experience.
• Oversee the lifecycle of financed assets, from location and repossession through to remarketing.
• Manage secure and accurate customer payments, reconciliations and banking processes.
• Work with colleagues across NFS to deliver projects and new solutions that enhance the customer journey.
• Partner with external vendors and stakeholders to deliver on service and operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls while monitoring KPIs. 

About you 

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in leading teams in financial services, asset finance, or a related operations environment.
• Familiar with payment operations, reconciliations or asset management processes.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, with exposure to technology and automation projects.
• A confident communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across all levels.
• Strong in problem-solving and organising work, with an eye for detail and improvement opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using finance systems or workflow tools.

 A degree in Business, Commerce or Finance is a bonus, but not essential if you bring relevant experience and a strong learning mindset.
