WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a contract Business Analyst to support Global Partner Stores within the Converse Global Growth organization. This role will provide critical maternity leave coverage for business analysis, data management, reporting, and partner performance support across Converse Global Partner retail stores.
This person will help ensure monthly partner store data is accurate, complete, and decision-ready. They will support recurring reporting, financial inputs, partner meeting preparation, and ad hoc analysis that enables the business to manage performance, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain strong operational discipline.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, comfortable working with retail sales and financial data, and able to translate information into clear insights for business stakeholders. This role requires someone who can manage recurring processes independently, validate data carefully, and communicate issues or findings clearly.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and validate monthly Global Partner store data, ensuring partner submissions are uploaded, complete, accurate, and ready for analysis.
- Support monthly business reporting, dashboards, and insights to help stakeholders understand Global Partner store performance.
- Prepare analysis and reporting for quarterly partner business meetings, including performance trends, opportunities, and key discussion inputs.
- Support retail fee processes by helping accrue annual retail revenues and validating partner sales data used in retail fee calculations.
- Assist in building bottoms-up annual financial targets and revenue plans by store.
- Support onboarding of new partners into business analytics platforms, reporting processes, and tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders to complete ad hoc analysis related to store performance, revenue, partner trends, and business opportunities.
- Identify data quality issues, reporting gaps, or process risks and escalate them appropriately.
- Help maintain continuity in business management rhythms while key team members are on leave.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Growth. You will work in close partnership with the Stores Excellence team supporting Global Partner Stores and cross-functional partners who rely on accurate partner store data and reporting. You will play a key role in driving commercial performance visibility and business insights across the Converse Global Partner business.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, retail analytics, commercial reporting, finance support, or a related analytical role.
- Strong Excel and data management skills; experience with dashboards, reporting tools (Sigma, Tableau), or analytics platforms preferred.
- Ability to validate, reconcile, and manage recurring business data with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with retail, wholesale, partner, e-commerce, or consumer business data preferred.
- Comfort preparing performance reports, identifying trends, and summarizing insights for business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to flag risks, ask the right questions, and explain findings simply.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Bias toward accuracy, follow-through, and practical business impact.
