Improving cloud solutions and digitizing buying processes, NIKE stays ahead of competition. Within the ITAM team we rely on a range of SAM (software asset management) and HAM (hardware asset management) tools. These tools lay out the landscape of solutions used within the company; the data is critical to execute key accountabilities of the ITAM team.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter type Sr Software Asset Analyst that approaches problems with an engineering mentality, is experienced with technology and big data, and comfortable with learning new tools and techniques. Experience with sophisticated data analysis and previous exposure to asset management are desired. You should feel comfortable working in a large organization working across different teams.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Scale up the share of SAM managed software solutions at Nike.
  • Drive cost savings through optimized license utilization.
  • Expand the offering of software catalog items to speed up license provisioning and improve the Nike end user experience.
  • Ensure license compliance and usage of the latest approved and supported versions of software for Nike’s critical tier 1 publishers.
  • Drive ongoing software decommissioning to minimize the risk of future vulnerabilities.
  • Leverage ITAM foundational tools (ServiceNow, discovery & endpoint security tools) to track and efficiently manage Nike’s rapidly evolving IT environment.
  • Reflect key results in periodic reports that advise leadership’s decisions on technology spend, risk mitigation, and endpoint security.
  • Partner with end user services teams to seamlessly deliver technology to end users.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to remove inefficiencies and drive process improvements.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or computer science degree (preferred educational subject area within Technology, Business, Finance or Procurement); or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • 5+ years of experience that demonstrates strong domain expertise in Asset Management and/or Procurement and/or Sourcing and/or Vendor Management and/or IT Risk Management.
  • Data engineering experience including working with APIs to query and load data.
  • Public cloud (AWS/Azure) and Linux administration experience.
  • Familiarity with asset management tools like ServiceNow, Flexera, Zylo, CMDB technologies, and discovery tools like Tanium, Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Jamf, SCCM, SolarWinds, Wiz.
  • Data visualization skills, transforming data into practical insights.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly accountable self-starter who thrives in a matrix environment.
