Title: Scrum Lead

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 2 year contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you will guide our Agile development teams to success as a Scrum Lead. You will facilitate collaboration, remove obstacles, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your primary responsibilities will include:

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Scrum Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional teams, promoting communication and transparency. Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success.
  • Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress. Proactively address challenges to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Encourage reflection, feedback, and the adoption of best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics. Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching on Agile principles and practices. Mentor team members in the adoption of Agile methodologies and help them grow in their roles.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve obstacles.
  • Dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Ability to train and coach team members effectively.
