Title: BOE Engagement Coordinator
Location: Onsite – Beaverton, OR
Duration: 7 Month Contract
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Engagement Coordinator to help inspire and foster an engaged team through cultural events, storytelling, content creation and event planning. In this role, you will help implement engagement, transition and communication strategies and embrace creative channels to elevate our global narrative. With the team you will deliver employee engagement and operational programs and collateral, build trust and facilitate dialogue to improve team and culture. Helping our team feel valued and have the information they need, when they need it, are the primary goals.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will be joining the APLA Technology Business Operations and Engagement team and will:
- Use your engagement transition management background and expertise to drive information sharing about organizational initiatives, announcements, and engagement opportunities, while ensuring global and diverse perspectives.
- Deliver events and communications through various tools and platforms to reach audience.
- Proactively create engagement opportunities for team to connect our diverse teammates, Nike and our community.
- Write organizational communications, newsletter articles, and announcements.
- Manage budgets and forecasts as applicable for events and engagement activities.
- Organize, schedule, and coordinate editorial calendars for content across digital channels.
- Ensure all communications have cohesive branding and consistent messaging.
- Maintain and update operational materials such as onboarding documents and organizational-wide content on Confluence.
- Maintain operational organizational roster to support monthly reporting etc.
- Keep a pulse on the team as to what is important and needs of the teams towards improving engagement.
- Track and evaluate success measures for all communications and engagement related activities.
- Be a thought-partner in growing the team and elevating the APLA Technology Operations brand.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
- The Engagement Coordinator is in the APLA Technology Operations’ Business Operations and Enablement team. This role works closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners and stakeholders across APLA Tech and NIKE, Inc. to create meaningful and relevant communications and events, which will directly impact our commitment to investing in our most important asset… our people.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, Business or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years in engagement or team coordination roles.
- Excellent written communication skills. Critical eye for copy writing.
- Experience with planning and executing virtual and in-person events.
- Project management experience and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Skilled in distilling complex information into easily digestible presentation materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with using email/content management systems. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
