Title: Niche Developer/Engineer - Lead

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 2 Year contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead new title focused on the company's computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information
  • Develop code, configure applications, and define job schedules for high-risk, highly complex requirements
  • Install software and software updates for critical systems
  • Execute and be responsible for the deployment of code across environments
  • Approve and conduct design and code reviews
  • Create critical-path, high-risk, advanced and/or cross-functional technical designs
  • Collaborate with other teams on integration needs/design
  • Contribute to database design and ensure consistent technical approach
  • Participate and contribute to Nike's overall architectural footprint, direction, and standards
  • Perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution
  • Contribute to technical solutions by performing analysis and identifying options
  • Contribute to RFP processes
  • Identify technical issues and determine options for resolution and risk mitigation
  • Define and communicate requirements for technical environments
  • Create and apply architecture, governance, security, and global process standards
  • Establish, maintain, and apply coding/configuration standards and best practices
  • Conduct performance monitoring and analyze against benchmarks
  • Analyze business requirements and create performance testing scenarios
  • Review and approve performance test results, recommendations, and tuning

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience
  • Understanding and experience in one or more Hot Skill Technologies (Java, .NET, SAP, PeopleSoft, See Beyond)
