WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The nature of the work is focused on short-term or long-term business direction, goals, processes, and purchases.

  • General Analysis: Develops strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability.
  • Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.
  • Strategic Business Planning Process: Drive a planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met.
  • Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy.
  • Measurement: Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3-year Strategic Plan at the Regional Level, and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated;
  • Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree and;
  • Minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
  • Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted:
  • PhD or Law + 8 yrs;
  • Masters + 9 yrs;
  • Associates degree + 11 yrs;
  • High School + 12 yrs.
