WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Converse is hiring an Inventory Planner to join our fast-paced and growing DTC allocation team. As an Inventory Planner for Converse DTC, you will appropriately allocate merchandise to our Converse retail stores and Digital DC to ensure the "right" merchandise in the "right" stores at the "right" times. You will execute timely and accurate allocations utilizing sales data to support company inventory and sales goals, as well as specific product initiatives. You will be responsible for allocating merchandise to stores at style, color and size level consistent with store needs. In addition, you'll transfer and manage multiple sources of product as needed.
In this role, you will partner with the Allocation Manager on the following:
- Planning inventory of all products in the assigned category to achieve allocation targets and meet sales goals.
- Weekly flow strategy and unit shipment forecasting, including replenishment for seasonal product, to ensure optimal inventory productivity.
- Seasonal stock flow strategy in partnership with cross-functional DTC teams.
- Effective communication and partnership with store teams to asses inventory needs and challenges.
- Communicating floor set goals and peak season shipment forecasts to Supply Chain and store partners with focus on any risks/opportunities.
- Perform analysis of size-break scales, and manage store capacity issues.
- Store segmentation analysis - leverage size, color, regional, seasonal recapping to drive higher inventory productivity.
WHAT YOU BRING
Desired profile
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Inventory/Allocation Planning roles.
- MS Office; must have advanced Excel skills.
- Good understanding of retail math
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills, solution oriented team player.
- Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
