The Materials Sourcing team selects and shapes the source base of materials suppliers that manufacture the thousands of materials within Nike’s Apparel and Accessories product line. The team is comprised of strategic thinkers who advance our mission of driving outsized opportunity across materials lead-time, cost, quality, and sustainability while mitigating risk of source base disruption.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a strategic and proactive individual to articulate and execute long-range material sourcing strategies for wovens. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sourcing, costing, manufacturing or product development. We are looking for someone who will bring an informed & proactive approach, be comfortable balancing art & science, and thrive in a cross-functional environment. This role is perfect for a team player with drive, curiosity, and exceptional communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As an integral part of the Material Sourcing team, you will cultivate a competitive sourcing landscape and ensure we are growing with the right strategic suppliers to deliver on our goals. You will synthesize inputs from internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations to your team and leaders. You will bring strong project management, attention to detail, and analytical skills to ensuring seamless tracking and execution of seasonal sourcing decisions.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work across the Apparel Sourcing organization and partner closely with Supplier Managers (at PHK and in Asia), Development, Planning, and Costing teams. 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
• Preference for 5+ years of Product or Materials Sourcing, Costing, Manufacturing or Development experience, ideally within Apparel or accessories industry.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Self-starter with a bias towards action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills preferred
