Title: Internal and Employee Communications Manager
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6-month contract
Overview
The Internal and Employee Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, foster a positive workplace culture and ensure alignment with the company's goals and values. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between leadership and employees, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Communication Strategy Development
- Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans that support our “always on” communication efforts across HR, Legal, Product and Brand.
- Develop and manage engaging communications for employees globally on behalf of leadership, especially as it relates to our enterprise strategy.
- Collaborate with HR, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Maintain and update communication policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement
- Create programs and initiatives aligned with our priority brand stories that promote employee involvement and morale.
- Organize and manage events such as town halls, panel discussions or other events.
- Develop surveys and feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Analyze feedback and implement changes to improve communication and engagement.
Content Creation and Management
- Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various internal platforms.
- Ensure all communications are aligned with the company’s brand and values.
- Manage the creation and dissemination of critical company updates and announcements.
Leadership Communication Support
- Assist executives and managers in developing effective communication strategies.
- Provide training and resources to improve leadership communication skills.
- Draft talking points, presentations, and other communication materials for senior leaders.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in communication are a plus.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

- On-site four days (M-Th) weekly.
