Title: Data Quality Specialist - Global Transportation

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 3 months contract

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Data Quality Specialist will be a key team member on the Global Transportation First Mile team. The individual will need to be able to drive data analysis and exploration to understand current limitations. The individual will utilize their expertise to collaborate with key partners to understand requirements and drive identification, analysis and remediation of data quality issues impacting stakeholder’s ability to leverage Nike data.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Data will primarily be track and trace EDI milestone and/or API data events. We will be measuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness. This will involve partnering and communicating with multiple outside parties (vendors) , internal Nike stakeholders and scope may be across multiple supply chain technology platforms. Data testing for new implementations, changes and/or fixes will also be required. We are looking for a self-starter with problem solving skills and ability to influence corrective action and/or process improvement to drive better data quality.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience with transportation EDI events such as 315s, ASNs, etc. 
  • Experience with problem solving to improve KPIs around data quality
  • Minimum of three to five years of professional experience in a global logistics role.
  • Proven track record working in a cross-functional, global, multi-team environment.
  • Experience with data management in ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc).
  • Experience with and/or ability to quickly learn complex systems
