Title: Portfolio & Operations Analyst 

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6 months contract

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Portfolio & Operations Analyst to support a 6-month project. This role will focus on streamlining operational processes, driving efficiencies, managing contracts and payments, and creating impactful visualizations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with a proven ability to navigate a matrixed corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Lead onboarding to tools and processes during the first ~90 days, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Analyze and enhance workflows across the team and broader organization.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Apply a change management approach to support transitions to new processes.

Visualization & Communication

  • Develop executive-level presentations and visual reports using PowerPoint.
  • Create dashboards and operational insights using Airtable or similar platforms.
  • Communicate effectively across a matrixed organization, including senior leadership.

Contract & Financial Management

  • Manage contract lifecycles including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewals.
  • Oversee payment processes and vendor relationships.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  •  1-2 years minimum experience in operations management or related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, especially in navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
  • Experience with Airtable and/or Smartsheet.
  • Solid background in financial management (budgeting, forecasting, planning).
  • Proven experience in SOP documentation and process efficiency.
  • Prior Nike experience preferred.
  • Experience with vendors in a corporate business operations context is ideal.

Work Environment

  • This is an on-site role at WHQ, with WFH Fridays currently permitted.
  • Flexibility is required as Nike policy may change, and ETWs may be expected to work on-site 5 days a week.
