Duration: 6-month contract

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Incident Manager to join Nike’s Supply Chain Security team, which is dedicated to protecting the company’s assets, intellectual property, innovations, and ideas. With a focus on theft response and trend analysis, this position will own partnership between Supply Chain Security and key Nike functions in Resilience, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing, and Product Creation. This position will partner with cross-functional teams, identify process gaps, evolve current processes, and provide recommendations on measures to protect the product at its most critical stages to prevent theft, loss, and leaks based on key trends identified.

This is a global position based at WHQ in Beaverton, OR- reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain Security Compliance & Programs Director.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

The core functions of responsibility include, but are not limited to, managing the theft response process, follow up to key stakeholders to inform and track theft and product details, manage the Supply Chain Security Inbox, and update theft incidents in case management system. Incidents includes supply chain theft of products during R&D, manufacturing, and shipment throughout the supply chain.

In this position you will lead all processes related to detecting, intaking, escalating and triaging problems with relevant owners and teams while ensuring follow through on resolutions to deliver findings to key partners. This includes the development of a sustainable program to lean on carrier reporting and exception-based reporting for shortages throughout Nike’s Supply Chain, Distribution Centers and store delivery. After action communications strategy and key updates shared to executive leadership will be a key responsibility.

In addition, this position will be the key contact for global Resilience partners for ongoing investigations, proactive trend analysis, and data requirements to drive efficiencies.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will partner with investigative support groups such as Marketplace Investigations, Global Investigations, Nike Intelligence Center (NIC), Workplace Security, Legal, Technology, Brand Protection, Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), Manufacturing and Product Creation teams to prevent and minimize risk to Nike’s competitive advantage.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • 5+ Years with Theft Management, Case Management Systems, Reporting our Theft/Incident Reports
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to change directions quickly based on business, project, and team needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex findings and ideas simply to a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including senior level leadership.
  • Proficiency in web-based social media platforms, research tools, applications, and communication technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Case Management software (CRM) like Salesforce.
  • Ability to analyze data and present trends and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and leadership with a proactive approach to analysis.
  • The ability to function independently, under pressure, and perform multiple functions and duties, often simultaneously while prioritizing and executing on deliverables with minimal direction or oversight.
  • Passion for the Nike brand, and knowledge of sports culture, footwear or apparel industry a plus.
  • Possess a collaborative work ethic, professional maturity, and a positive personality.
