Title: Senior Code Event Planner

Duration: 8-month contract

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Senior Code Event Planner to lead and assist various operational activities of key Code Cross-Functional moments such as Global/Geo Pivot, Seasonal Investment Review and others.
This role supports the Global and Geo Code Moments leads to successfully execute the objectives of each moment.
The candidate needs to have proven experience in event management including planning, coordinating with vendors, logistics, attendees etc.
An ideal candidate will:
- Possess excellent Communication Skills
- Build solid relationship with key counterparts within the business
- Navigate complex Nike matrix to identify key stakeholders
- Coordinate with multiple partners to find feasible schedules for executive meetings
- Creatively solve complex logistical challenges
- Proactively foresee potential obstacles and create mitigation plans to ensure successful meeting outcomes
- Possess cultural sensitivity in working with Global stakeholders/audiences
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with the Global Consumer Code team and perform the following duties:
- Navigate complex and competiting executive schedules with key admin partners on a regular basis
- Planning meetings including sending invitations, reserving rooms, and coordinating logistics (e.g. AV)
- Manage vendors including creation of Purchase Orders
- Assist management of attendees, agendas and project as needed
- Planning catering and coordinating optimal schedules with key stakeholders
- Organize social events
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work with a variety of key stakeholders within the Nike Matrix. This will require a deep understanding of how Nike is organized and how to navigate the complex system. You will work directly with the Global/Geo Consumer Code Moments Leads as well as our extended Operations community.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must haves:
- 5 years of event and meeting management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experienced in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experienced in Mac Keynote
- Experienced in Smartsheet
