Title: Applications Engineer - Niche 5
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 3 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop code, configure applications, and define job schedules for complex, business-critical systems and requirements
- Install software and updates for critical systems
- Deploy code across environments and be responsible for deployment execution
- Conduct and approve design and code reviews
- Review and approve test plans, test execution, and validation of tests
- Create critical-path, high-risk, and advanced technical designs
- Collaborate with teams on integration needs and design
- Contribute to database design and ensure consistent technical approach
- Participate in and contribute to architectural direction, standards, and footprint
- Perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution
- Conduct technical analysis and identify technical solutions and options
- Contribute to RFP processes and define technical requirements
- Identify technical issues and determine risk mitigation and resolution options
- Define and apply standards for architecture, governance, security, and processes
- Establish, maintain, and apply coding/configuration standards and best practices
- Monitor system performance and analyze against benchmarks
- Create and analyze performance test scenarios to ensure application performance
- Review and approve performance test results and recommendations
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years building integrations and developing software
- 3+ years with Workday Integrations, Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, XML, XSLT
- 3+ years integrating systems with third-party vendors
- Experience with Web Services, EDI, and flat file integrations
- At least one full Workday implementation with solid technical experience
- Advanced understanding of full software implementation lifecycle
- Knowledge of SaaS applications, models, and DevOps
- Ability to work in Agile framework with product teams
- Demonstrated leadership of junior team members
- Workday Studio Certification preferred
- Object Oriented concepts experience preferred
- Superior analytical, problem solving, organization and pragmatism skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
