Title: Product Logistics Lead

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 12 month contract

THE OVERVIEW

Operationalize inventory to a space by organizing, tracking, and securing product in a location that can serve all categories, functions, and geographies over the full lifecycle of the product. Ultimately reducing the “chase” time for NIKE product; enable less physical product to serve more of NIKE’s needs; minimize product loss.

The Inventory Management Department will:

  • Establish best in class inventory management processes
  • Inventory, organize, track, and liquidate product for use
  • Contribute to policies and protocols to ensure proper gatekeeping, safety, security, and risk minimization of GBM product inventory on campus

DELIVERABLES

  • Lead and coordinate team resources to complete day-to-day objectives
  • Steward the product in the facility through its lifecycle including delivery receipt, unboxing, organizing, storing, retrieving and on-campus delivery of product
  • Serve as the librarian, checking product in/out of the facility
  • Pull product from onsite storage for executions
  • Create inventories for shipping and commercial invoices
  • Ensure product security while shipping on-campus, Nationally, and Internationally
  • Coordinate and process return of merchandise once production is complete
  • Work with Supervisors and Leads to detect and correct errors in inventory movement and balances
  • Safeguard all products under the facility’s care, verifying inventory accuracy
  • Serve the needs of the tenants while observing policies and protocols for product access and availability
  • Logistics Experience is a Must
  • Excel proficiency is required, and full working knowledge of MS Office Suite is needed, familiarity with Airtable, Tableau, SAP, Keynote and any WMS system a plus
  • Document process best practices & improvements areas and validate the effectiveness of actions taken
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and training materials for new and existing staff to enforce accurate inventory operations
  • Identify and elevate risks, issues, roadblocks and suggest solutions
  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement where teams are encouraged to drive change
  • Proactively contribute to a problem-solving Product Management community
  • Ensure inventory processes meets or exceeds Nike product security standards
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, customer service, retail, or stock room type Environment
  • 1+ year experience leading/managing a team preferred
  • Be available to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • Commit to no electronic devices during team meetings or 1:1s (Unless designated as note taker)
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with a diverse group or people
  • Technical aptitude
  • Strong influence, collaboration, presentation and organization skills
  • Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
