Title: Materials Designer 3
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 3 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Deliver materials vision and point of view for seasonal projects, aligned to creative direction & project briefs.
- Create original product designs or refresh existing products with supervision from Design leadership
- Ability to leverage manufacturing process to elevate new ideas, process, and materials
- Execution of base track and more long track design solutions (broad range of product price points and model types)
- Active and proficient participant in the creative process and cross-functional communication
- Support projects that are broader in scope and more complex (ex. Innovation, multigender/dimension/activity, supporting classification vs. collection)
- Communicate and present design concepts to internal and external audiences
- Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with key partners
- Significant engagement with external partners (ex. athletes, league, collaborator, etc.)
WHAT YOU BRING
Education
- BA/BFA/MA/MFA preferred
- Associate Degree preferred
Experience
- Preferred design experience: 5-7 years
- Creative experience (consumer/segment/dimensions)
- Knowledge of creative culture
Technical Skills
- Digital design acumen (design-based software needed: Creative Suite)
- Preferred knowledge and experience with advanced digital tools/3D skills
- Expert of make and manufacturing
