The opportunity:
As Senior Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Production team. You will lead our production processes along the critical path ensuring products are manufactured to a high quality, in a timely manner, and at optimal pricing targets in line with the Business/Brand Strategy and margin targets.
This position offers a mix of strategic thinking, operational knowhow and team leadership.
You will be managing production across our international and local suppliers. Your extensive experience in international production management will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain. With your supportive leadership mindset, you will empower and inspire your team to achieve exceptional results.
Furthermore, you will play an active role in the development & implementation of the company-wide strategy for sustainability across the company’s operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the production lifecycle – from range handover to PO and delivery – ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are met.
- Leading and mentoring a team of production professionals.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong supplier relationships, expanding the current supply chain while protecting its integrity
- Championing critical path management, product innovation, and margin optimisation.
- Driving our sustainability roadmap through traceability, certifications, and responsible sourcing practices.
- Providing expert production guidance, supporting technical execution and design realisation alongside the Creative and Merch teams.
- Collaborating with the Sourcing and Production Director to execute a robust global sourcing strategy.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years in senior production roles in fashion/apparel, ideally with experience in both cut & sew and woven product.
- A deep understanding of product development, garment construction, and offshore manufacturing.
- Experience in both Adult and Children’s product would be beneficial.
- Experience working with PLM systems
- A strong grasp of margin and cost management.
- A strategic mind and hands-on approach, equally comfortable solving problems, building processes, and coaching teams.
- A passion for product, people, innovation, and doing things better through a sustainable and ethical lens.
- Sound understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape.
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
