Production Assistant (Apparel)

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual to step into the role of Production Assistant at NAR!  

The opportunity:

As Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the team to successfully deliver a product range to market, by coordinating aspects of the production process and ensuring the team meets critical path timelines - all while working with globally recognised brands that celebrate the connection between sport, culture, and personal style.

This exciting and dynamic position involves working closely with key stakeholders throughout the production cycle, coordinating order placements, sample management, preparing supplier tech packs, and liaising with overseas suppliers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.

Your key responsibilities: 

• Assist in the production process from concept to delivery across multiple sportswear brands.
• Manage and organise samples, including fit, PP, and PR samples.
• Support the preparation of supplier tech packs, tag and labelling specs, and supplier communications.
• Maintain production schedules and PLM updates with accuracy and speed.
• Attend weekly production meetings and own follow-up actions.
• Ensure on-time product delivery by coordinating closely with the shipping department.
• Collaborate across teams including Design, Product, and Marketing.

What you will bring: 

• 1-2 years’ experience in the apparel production space 
• A tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Production, Fashion Design, Quality, or Buying.
• Foundational knowledge of garment construction, specifications, and fitting.
• Strong organisation and admin skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator (essential).
• Great communicator with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Passion for fashion, sports, and retail markets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• A hands-on, team player mentality.
• Experience using AP21 or a similar ERP system (preferred).
