Are you a seasoned People & Culture Advisor looking to make your mark?

We have a new opportunity for an experienced P&C generalist who is passionate about delivering service excellence across the entire employee lifecycle. This varied, fast paced and hands-on role will involve supporting stakeholders across NAR and our associated entities, giving the successful individual the opportunity to work across several industries. Working in a lean team, the role will suit an agile HR professional who is able to handle ambiguity and multitask in a high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a main contact for all P&C related support and advice 
  • Manage end to end talent acquisition processes (recruitment, candidate sourcing, onboarding, new starter process and probation period reviews) 
  • Prepare employment related letters, contracts, agreements
  • Manage end to end transactional processes relating to the employee lifecycle, right through to offboarding
  • Provide coaching, guidance and generalist advice to managers and employees on people related matters (including all IR/ER/performance matters) 
  • Implement and ensure compliance with P&C policies and procedures (including OH&S) and applicable Federal and State legislation, regulations and statutory requirements
  • Maintain/update P&C policies, processes and documentation, including making recommendations for improvement 
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure timely and accurate employee information is provided for pay processing 
  • Coordinate annual performance reviews
  • Maintain accurate P&C records (including on HRIS) and ensure all electronical filing is up-to-date 

 The capabilities you have:

  • A proven track record in a similar P&C advisory role, ideally within the retail or wholesale industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other employment legislation – ability to read, interpret and apply
  • High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are accountable, highly organised and proactive with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Effective problem-solving, solutions focussed mindset with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • People oriented with the ability to build rapport and coach all levels within the business
