Northeast Health Wangaratta’s busy Emergency Department is seeking expressions of interest from suitable staff for a casual Grade 3 Allied Health Practitioner position.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, this role provides assessment, intervention and care coordination for patients presenting to the Emergency Department, with a focus on supporting timely and safe discharge or admission.
The successful applicant will work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams, as well as community services, to identify and coordinate the supports patients need. The role provides an opportunity to work collaboratively across Northeast Health Wangaratta and with external service providers while continuing to develop clinical skills and knowledge.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated allied health professional looking to contribute to patient-centred care in a busy regional Emergency Department.
