The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor plays a pivotal role in leading the implementation of organisational strategies and programs that positively transform and enrich our culture around diversity, inclusion and patient experience. Supporting our diverse workforce, the Diversity & Inclusion Advisor works alongside our team, patients and visitors to champion a culture that embraces inclusion and equity across NHW. The role is accountable for key frameworks including LGBTIQ+, Cultural and Linguistic Diversity, Disability Access and Inclusion, and Gender Equality, ensuring best practice principles are embedded into everyday operations.
Working in close partnership with our Education, Spiritual Care, Aboriginal Health and People & Culture teams, the Advisor also supports related initiatives and programs that strengthen connection, understanding and belonging throughout the organisation.
