Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Northeast Health is seeking a qualified Social Worker to fill an exciting, and diverse position working across the admitted space on a weekend. An approved degree in Social Work, which enables eligibility for AASW membership, is essential. An interest and clinical experience working within community health programs including antenatal care is highly desirable.

The desired applicants will have Social Work experience, they will possess the ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team environment, they will be flexible and self motivated. In addition the desired applicant will have experience working with a wide range of age groups, which may include expectant mothers.
