Are you a dynamic and experienced midwifery leader ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Maternity Unit Manager (MUM) to lead and manage the daily operations of our Maternity Unit across both inpatient and outpatient services, including antenatal, lactation, domiciliary, and midwifery group practice care.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring financial accountability, and driving clinical governance initiatives to deliver safe, high-quality, woman-centred care. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, maintaining high standards of midwifery practice that align with Nursing and Midwifery Board standards, NHW values, and the Nursing & Midwifery Capability Framework.
As the MUM, you will play a key role in fostering respectful, therapeutic relationships with women, families, and staff, while ensuring a secure, inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of our community. Your leadership will ensure excellence in clinical outcomes through evidence-based practice, ongoing education, and strategic alignment with organisational priorities.
