NHW have an exciting internal opportunity for an experienced and innovative senior clinician to join the NHW Emergency Department (ED), as the Allied Health Interdiscplinary Professional (AHIP) within the service. The successful applicant will deliver a comprehensive interdisciplinary service, including assessment and management of ED patients, with a strong focus on discharge planning.
The position will hold both leadership and clinical responsibilities so is suitable for a clinician who is seeking the opportunity to diversify and enhance their clinical and non-clinical skills. The successful applicant will need to manage a busy workload with competing priorities and build and maintain professional networks with both internal and external stakeholders.
An approved degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Social Work, Speech Pathology or Dietetics is vital, along with demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in an inpatient setting. The successful applicant will be part of the NHW ED team, in addition to the broader Allied Health team and NHW workforce.
