Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to provide strong managerial and professional leadership within our public dental clinic. This role is responsible for leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team that includes dental officers, dental assistants, administrative staff and dental auxiliaries, fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture focused on quality patient care.
The Practice Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the public dental service, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, effectively and to a consistently high standard. This includes ensuring full compliance with The Dental Service’s policies, procedures and governance requirements while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.
A key component of the role involves active participation in the planning, implementation and management of public dental programs across the Central Hume sub region. The Practice Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support service development and ensure programs meet community needs.
In addition, the Practice Manager will provide professional leadership to all clinic staff and will undertake, or contribute to, a range of projects related to the delivery and enhancement of public dental services. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality public oral health services and leading a dedicated team committed to improving community health outcomes.
