Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

As part of a small team of midwives you must be confident and capable to work across the continuum of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal areas with a demonstrated ability to carry out clinical care to a high level. In addition to at least two years post registration experience you must have gained Level 3 (>75%) practitioner level in a fetal surveillance education program within the past 12 months. A commitment to woman-centered and evidenced based care, as well as collaborative midwifery practice is essential. Higher level midwifery skills such as perineal suturing would be looked upon favourably
