Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Supervisor to lead our dynamic ultrasound team. This role is responsible for coordinating service delivery both onsite and at regional outreach locations, while maintaining a clinical workload. You will play a key role in shaping collaborative relationships with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
As the Ultrasound Supervisor, you will oversee and mentor Grade 2–4 sonographers and students, support performance development, maintain service standards, and assist in departmental planning. Your expertise will guide complex and specialist ultrasound procedures, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure patient care is always prioritised.
This is a Grade 4 AHP1 position under the Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement, with an additional 5% above-award in recognition of the leadership role. It may suit candidates who are dual qualified as both radiographers and sonographers, holding current registration with AHPRA and a Victorian Radiation Use Licence. Dual-qualified staff will also take part in the MIT rotating roster.
