Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Is recruiting to the role of regional-located clinical trial start-up coordinators - with a key focus on the implement the Australian Teletrial Program (ATP) in collaboration with the Regional Clinical Trial Coordinating Centre (RCCC). 

The Regional Clinical Trials Coordinator Study start-up Specialist role is employed by Northeast Health Wangaratta and will work collaboratively with Northeast Health Wangaratta; Goulburn Valley Health and La Trobe Regional Hospital. The role will provide study start-up coordination and consultation focused on the delivery of clinical trials and teletrials in rural and regional areas of Victoria. 

Clinical trial coordinators play a vital role in the sourcing, establishing, promoting and assist in building efficient and effective process’s and systems required to support the implementation of clinical trials, with a special focus on Teletrials. They perform a wide range of duties, including study start-up activities, support study coordination, and consult on the provision of care and coordination of participants at every stage of their clinical trial journey.  

The Regional Clinical Trials Coordinator Study start-up Specialist will work collaboratively with clinicians and clinical research staff from a range of disciplines to establish clinical trials and teletrials in rural/regional Health Services.
