What You’ll Do
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting activities with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and financial statements
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts including prepaids, fixed assets, amortization, and accruals
- Record banking activity, reconcile bank accounts, and monitor cash balances
Analysis & Support
- Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports
- Develop and track financial reports for assigned focus areas
- Maintain communication with internal departments to gather cost and transaction data
- Assist with audit procedures and general ledger maintenance
Additional Responsibilities
- Process weekly AP, expense reimbursements, and AMEX reports
- Utilize help-desk ticket systems for workflow management
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, fixed assets, prepaids, and bank reconciliations
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Knowledge of general ledger, audits, and SOX 404 controls (a plus)
- Ability to analyze complex accounting data and provide recommendations
