Closer - HELOC FocusedRemote

12-month, contract/temp assignment

Location: 100% Remote

Pay Rate: $25.00/hourly

Start Date: January 5, 2026 | Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Are you looking for an engaging role in the real estate industry? Our client is seeking an experienced Closer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare HUD-1 and ALTA settlement statements with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Calculate mortgage taxes in accordance with applicable state guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive closing packages for HELOC transactions.
• Coordinate scheduling with lenders, borrowers.
• Conduct thorough post-closing reviews to ensure documents are complete and compliant.
• Work closely with the Title Team, Curative Team, and Disbursement Team to meet all transaction requirements.
• Review title commitments and property reports.
• Maintain detailed and organized file notes throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Deliver clear, timely communication and provide excellent customer service to all parties involved.

Qualifications:

• Title company experience required (2+ years strongly preferred).
• Proficiency preparing HUD-1 and ALTA settlement statements.
• Experience with HELOC closings (insured or uninsured) is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of title commitments and property reports.
• Strong understanding of mortgage tax calculations and recording requirements.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with title/escrow production software (i.e. Qualia, SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest or similar).
• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
