Job Description:
Central information technology organization, providing the network infrastructure, hardware, software and enterprise services for offices to run their business. The End User Support Specialist provides network and database administration, device management, and administers processes, services and technical support for hardware and software for the organization's internal and external clients.
This is a full-time, in-person position (Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Travel by vehicle is required. Expenses will be reimbursed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides a high level of customer service and timely technical support for end-user computer and networking issues to ensure end-user productivity
- Responsible for the installation, configuration and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software
- Troubleshoots and responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing equipment or software problems, and performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at end-user location to resolve end-user problems
- Typically resolves issues referred by Helpdesk Support
- Follows standard procedures and guidelines
- Understands how assigned duties relate to others within the team and how the team integrates with related teams
- Impacts own team through quality of the support provided
- Recognizes and solves typical problems; selects solutions from established options
- Communicates moderately complex information in routine situations, typical within own team
- Works under general supervision with limited ability to modify approach
- Individual contributor having no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Technical Skills:
- Remote desktop support (e.g. Bomgar, Dameware)
- Ticketing Systems (especially ServiceNow)
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Windows OS knowledge
- Active Directory (unlock/reset passwords, machine accounts)
- SCCM (software deployment, imaging)
- Intune/device management
- Network fundamentals (connectivity, printers, mobile devices)
- 2+ years of related work experience
- AI experience
- Clean driver's license and own vehicle
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Certifications a plus
