About the Role

  • We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable software solutions. This role will support complex software development efforts, contribute to ongoing projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and help advance engineering best practices.
  • The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for creating design specifications, developing high-quality code, performing unit testing, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time and aligned with established standards. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to build professional working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members.
  • The ideal candidate has experience designing, developing, and implementing serverless software solutions that support data quality, automation, and efficient data processing. This individual should bring strong full stack engineering experience, cloud expertise, and a background in designing reliable systems within modern development environments.


 Responsibilities of the role

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software solutions
  • Build scalable, secure, and reusable applications and services
  • Develop and support serverless solutions in a cloud-based environment
  • Create design specifications, unit tests, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners
  • Contribute to software development best practices, standards, and processes
  • Support the design and development of microservices and APIs
  • Participate in Agile development processes and CI/CD practices
  • Analyze technical requirements and develop solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support business objectives
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance and reliability


 Qualifications needed for the role

  • 7 or more years of demonstrated software development experience
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js, APIs, and scripting
  • Experience developing full stack solutions using Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch
  • Experience designing, developing, and monitoring microservices
  • Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps principles, and modern software delivery practices
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern software engineering principles
  • Experience working with multiple tools, technologies, and implementation environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders


 Preferred skills and attributes for the role

  • Experience working on Agile scrum teams with a team-first mindset
  • Ability to design, build, refactor, and monitor scalable, reusable applications and high-frequency data services
  • Experience with AWS services such as KMS, SQS, SNS, OpenSearch, Route 53, and VPC
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and technologies such as CloudFormation, GitHub, and Ansible
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar scripting techniques
  • Interest in learning new business processes, tools, and technologies
  • Familiarity with data science, generative AI, or machine learning concepts


Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant AWS or other professional certifications preferred

 

 Pay Rate Range: $80-$90 per hr (Depending on Experience)
