Project Manager, Hyland OnBase / Epic Conversions (Remote)

We're hiring a Project Manager to drive document conversion workstreams inside a major Epic EMR rollout. You'll own Wave Three prep, where roughly 20 source systems are converting to Hyland OnBase and linking into Epic ahead of the November 2026 go-live. You'll also kick off due diligence on the eight (and growing) Wave Four conversions already on deck.

This is hands-on project leadership, not a budget seat. If you like running the call, holding vendors accountable, and keeping complex conversion timelines from slipping a single week, you'll feel at home here.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain the project plan, schedule, and resource model for Wave Three conversions using standard PMI PMBOK practices
  • Run weekly vendor calls across all in-flight source systems through go-live
  • Deliver weekly status reports to leadership, surface risks early, and keep mitigation plans current
  • Manage scope, schedule, and resourcing changes as conversion data and dependencies firm up
  • Start vendor outreach, discovery calls, and information gathering for Wave Four as the list gets finalized
  • Translate technical conversion work into clear business updates for leadership stakeholders

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare IT or EMR-adjacent environments
  • Proven experience leading data and document conversion projects end-to-end
  • Strong vendor and third-party management skills, you've owned those relationships before
  • Comfort presenting to leadership and running cross-functional working sessions
  • MS Project, CA Clarity, or a comparable PPM tool
  • Sharp organizational instincts, detail orientation, and clear written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

  • Hyland OnBase experience (this is the bullseye)
  • Exposure to Epic integrations or healthcare data workflows
  • Track record on phased, wave-based enterprise rollouts
  • PMP certification

The Details

  • 100% remote, no patient-facing work
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • East Coast hours preferred, Central or Pacific considered for the right person
  • Contract through end of 2026 with strong likelihood of extension into 2027
  • Brief shift flexibility may be needed around the May 30 Wave Two go-live

Why This One Matters This isn't a monitor-and-report PM seat. The team needs someone who can quarterback 20 vendor workstreams in parallel, hold the November go-live date, and lay track for Wave Four at the same time. If you've run conversion projects of this scale and want one with real scope and visibility, let's talk.

Important

  • W2 only, no C2C
  • Unable to provide visa sponsorship
  • Direct candidates only, no third-party agency submissions
