Position: Implementation Project Manager, Tealium (Contract)

Project: Tealium Implementation Project for the Engagement & Reach team

Mode: Temporary for duration of implementation, 4-8 months 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with hands‑on Customer Data Platform implementation experience to lead and coordinate client responsibilities for a Tealium CDP rollout. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client and Tealium, ensuring scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met across multiple internal teams. You will drive execution, align stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of all client owned tasks required for project success.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Coordination

• Serve as the main client point of contact for the Tealium implementation.
• Drive definition and alignment of use cases, business requirements, and success criteria.
• Own delivery of client scope as outlined in the Statement of Work SOW.
• Coordinate across technical, marketing, data, and business stakeholders.

Project Management and Execution

• Lead participation in project kickoff, recurring weekly status meetings, working sessions, and project closeout.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.
• Ensure timely completion of all client owned tasks and deliverables.
• Manage internal schedules and resource availability to support the project timeline.

Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate collaboration between client teams and Tealium project resources.
• Ensure appropriate technical and business resources attend required meetings and working sessions.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and key decisions clearly to internal stakeholders.

Requirements and Readiness

• Coordinate provision of access to test and staging environments.
• Ensure required documentation, data samples, and configuration details are provided.
• Support sample file imports and connector requirement definition.
• Prepare internal teams for data layer discussions, validation activities, and integrations.

Quality and Delivery Assurance

• Support validation of data collection, enrichment, and integrations.
• Ensure client teams review and sign off on project outcomes.
• Help manage scope changes and support any required change order discussions.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of project management experience, preferably in digital, data, marketing technology, or SaaS implementations.
• Proven experience managing cross functional technical projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with customer data platforms, preferably Tealium.
• Experience with analytics, martech, or tagging and implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Tealium, Adobe, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus.

Engagement Expectations

• High level of engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Availability for multiple meetings per week, including multi hour working sessions as needed.
• Ability to proactively identify risks, dependencies, and timeline impacts.

Pay Rate: $65-$80 hr (Final pay determined by experience)
