Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer to help maintain order and compliance in our visitor parking lots during weeknights and weekends. Current schedule is Tuesdays, Fridays: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Saturdays: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated parking lots to enforce parking rules and regulations.
• Issue citations or warnings for parking violations using a handheld device or ticket writer.
• Answer questions from visitors regarding parking policies and lot locations in a professional and courteous manner.
• Report any issues with signage, lot maintenance, or security to a supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of prior experience in the field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using technology, such as tablets/iPhone and mobile ticket-writing devices.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights and weekends.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
