ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop scalable applications and testing solutions on an AWS serverless platform. You will join an Agile engineering team building modern systems that support secure remote assessments, automated testing, data integrity, and platform reliability.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack while contributing to cloud architecture, application development, and quality engineering initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain full-stack software applications
• Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS
• Develop responsive front-end applications using React.js and JavaScript ES6+
• Create scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js
• Collaborate with product, design, and technical teams
• Develop tools and platforms for automated test data generation
• Design and execute chaos testing
• Develop automated browser-based end-to-end testing
• Develop automated API integration testing
• Build systems that collect telemetry and monitor data integrity
• Support continuous integration testing environments
• Contribute to testing, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Work as a hands-on technical contributor within an Agile engineering team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field
• 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on development experience with Node.js, JavaScript ES6+, React.js, and AWS
• Experience designing and implementing serverless applications on AWS
• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS
• Experience developing highly scalable software applications
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
• Experience working on Agile engineering teams
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with automated browser-based end-to-end testing
• Experience with automated API integration testing
• Experience with chaos testing
• Experience supporting continuous integration environments
• Experience with application testing and production support
• Ability to contribute across development, testing, and operational support
• Strong understanding of software libraries, frameworks, and underlying application architecture
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a cross-functional environment
• Continuous-improvement mindset and interest in learning new technologies
• Ability to understand technical details and their broader business implications
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed work style with the ability to establish priorities and achieve goals
• AWS Associate-level certification or higher

WHY THIS ROLE

You will help build the next generation of secure, cloud-based assessment solutions while solving complex engineering challenges involving scalability, automated testing, telemetry, and data integrity. This role is well suited for an experienced full-stack engineer who enjoys working across the application stack and delivering modern serverless solutions. 

 Pay Rate Range: $80-$90 per hr (Depending on Experience)
