We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Vendor Manager|Vendor Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical, financial, and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll play a key role in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Job Title: Vendor Manager / Vendor Analyst

Location: Remote - East Coast Candidates Preferred

Employment Type: Contract|40 Hour Work Week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage IT vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality services/products within budget.
  • Analyze vendor performance and develop improvement strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively throughout the negotiation process and troubleshoot contract-related issues.
  • Facilitate vendor audits and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate execution and tracking of agreements and vendor requests.
  • Perform vendor screenings and vetting for new and existing vendors.
  • Investigate and escalate adverse findings during onboarding and monitoring.
  • Support resolution of escalated supplier issues, risk assessments, and decommissioning.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on vendor operations, policies, and reporting.
  • Research and apply best practices in vendor risk management and healthcare supply chain.
  • Collaborate professionally with internal and external teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes.
  • Project management experience; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience in healthcare or IT vendor environments preferred.

Pay Rate: Hourly
