Location:        Providence, RI 02912

Start Date:     ASAP – December 31, 2026               

Pay Rate:        $25.00/hour

Schedule:       Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the coordination efforts for various projects in Student Affairs, including research, data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting for the School of Engineering (SoE) projects. The incumbent will be trained to work with SoE deans, faculty leads, and staff for our ABET engineering accreditation review.

Strong verbal and written communications, a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail are critical to this role. The online research for this role is primarily contained within the departments and systems. This role supports all current activities of the Student Affairs Unit, including collaboration on projects with students, faculty and staff, and may include event planning and support, posting notices, and responding to requests for information.

 Skills and Experience

  • High proficiency in research, data collection and reporting with accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite (including spreadsheets, documents, and databases).
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues when appropriate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment.
  • Customer service experience with a strong service-minded philosophy.

Technical/Educational Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Associates degree, or equivalent combination of skills and experience
