EFT/Hours:  1.0 EFT (80 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:         Full Time Ongoing

Hourly Rate: $57.5879 hourly rate amount or range> per hour plus 12% superannuation 

About the Role

The M2M Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across Medical Education and Training and Medical Workforce Management, supporting the delivery of a high-quality, accredited rural internship program and the broader Hume Rural Generalist training and workforce pathway.

The Manager operates under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, NCN Health, as the M2M employing organisation and program fund holder, and works in close partnership with the M2M Director of Clinical Training (DCT), who provides clinical and educational leadership and advice. The Manager is supported by the M2M Program Program Officer in the coordination, administration and delivery of program activities.

The position works closely with the VRGP Hume Region Coordinator and maintains partnerships with participating health services, general practices, supervisors, universities and Rural Clinical Schools, PMCV, the Victorian Department of Health and other regional and statewide stakeholders. The Manager ensures M2M program performance, workforce requirements, trainee outcomes, risks and opportunities are effectively monitored and reported through relevant NCN Health, M2M and VRGP governance pathways.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in health management, health administration, education, business, human resources, project management or another relevant discipline and/or comparative relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in medical education and training, medical workforce coordination, health service administration, general practice or a related health sector environment, with experience coordinating programs or activities across multiple stakeholders and clinical training settings, including hospital and/or community-based environments.
  • Demonstrated program and project coordination capability, including the ability to plan, organise, implement and evaluate activities, establish priorities, manage competing demands and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience or sound knowledge of medical workforce processes, including recruitment and appointment, workforce and rotation planning, onboarding, employment processes and/or coordination of doctors in training.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical education and training and/or accreditation and quality frameworks, including an understanding of trainee supervision, assessment, progression and compliance requirements within a medical training environment
